  • Author-in-Hand

    The Author-in-Hand Program encourages and promotes reading, helps prevent “summer slide,” and supports the creative writing process by giving students free summer reading books. This includes all public school students in the towns of East Hampton and Bridgehampton from Pre-K through 5th grade.

  • 9/11 Memorial & Museum Field Trip

    Each spring, the entire junior class of East Hampton High School visits the National September 11th Memorial & Museum through a donation made in part by the East Hampton Education Foundation.

  • Fine Arts Initiative

    East Hampton Education Foundation has provided funding for the Fine Arts Initiatives, including sponsoring student performances at Carnegie Hall, yearly opera at the Springs School, and choral performances at St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome.

  • The Tyler Project

    The Tyler Valcich Memorial Fund was established to increase and improve mental health services for students and their families in our community. Funds raised will be used to support character education services and programs to help predict and prevent crises facing young people.

Our Scholarships

  • The Ben & Bonnie Krupinski Memorial

    A $10,000 scholarship spread over 4 years is awarded to a high school senior who has been accepted to an accredited 2 or 4-year college.

    2025 Recipient: Michael Loban

  • Book Scholarships

    Each year East Hampton Education Foundation awards ten $500 scholarships to graduating East Hampton High School students.

  • Habits-of-Mind Character Awards

    The Habits-of-Mind is an identified set of 16 problem-solving, life-related skills necessary to effectively operate in society and promote strategic reasoning, insightfulness, perseverance, creativity, and craftsmanship. Each year EHEF highlights one habit.

  • The Bonnie Bistrian Krupinski Women-in-Business Scholarship

    A $5,000 Scholarship will be awarded over the course of 2 years to a graduate planning to attend college to pursue a business path, be it academic, professional or entrepreneurial.

    2025 Recipient: Natalia Neal

  • The Dan Hamlin Memorial Scholarship

    $1,000 scholarship awarded per year to an East Hampton High School senior majoring in science (including engineering, math, and science education).

    2025 Recipient: Andrew Camacho

  • The Kate Cassidy Scholarship

    The Kate Cassidy Scholarship is a $5,000 scholarship given to two students pursuing a helping career in the area of social work, psychology, nursing, medicine/medical, occupational therapy, teacher, dietician, etc.

Mini-Grants

East Hampton Education Foundation offers Mini-Grants to teachers who apply for funding to support specialized projects that are outside of the school budgets. We have awarded over $181K+ since 2005. Our vision and goals for the Mini-Grants program are to promote and provide innovative educational opportunities for our students.

Mini-grant requests can be between $200 and $2,000.
